12-1 - Get costumes/props situated (15 minutes) opening circle, set intentions (Trina - 15 minutes) orientation to tech flow and strike, task review (15 minutes), group bow (Kristin - 15 minutes) 

 

TECH 

As soon as the work before you is completed, while props are being removed, your five minutes with Andy begins.

 

IN SPACE

Once the five minute bell goes off discussion with the designer ends.

    • (All applicants could have this information on their forms right from the start: who the checks are made out to, an address, etc. It can be worded: 'If you are selected, please provide us with the following information: name, address, etc". OR we can have this be provided in the acceptance letter that would also contain all the necessary documents: contracts, artist agreements, release forms, deadline dates, choreographer information for the program. This way participants get one email from the Herder with all these attachments and maybe one reminder for those that procrastinate and that's it. We should have only one deadline date for everything and we should make it sooner than later.)

  • THE COMP BEE TASKS - LAURA KARLIN

    • make comp request form for artists

    • comps for photographers and videographers

    • Coordinated which press would be using comps.  

    • finalize comp list

    • Create a second comp list without contact information from theater

    • Integrate last minute changes to comp list and give this to the theater

 

  • THE PRESS BEE TASKS - STEPHEN

    • Draft press release for core group to look over.

    • Update release as new information came in.

    • Send reminders to Stephen re: press release going out

    • Coordinate meetings with press

    • Develop contact list of listings for Listings Bee

    • Maintain account for the HIVE with the indy so can post as the HIVE

    • Maintain account for the HIVE for EDhat listings

    • Coordinate with listings

    • Go to the website to see what present process is

    • Figure out who present contact is

    • submit press release

    • recruit dance writers

    • Post production "bounce". We need media hype after the show. Many times things die down immediately after the final bow.)

    • Collect press articles for archives

 

  • THE DESIGN BEE TASKS - WESLIE 

    • FLYER

      • Coordinate with graphic designer amongst HIVE core and all HIVE members

      • Provide her link with photo gallery link

      • Coordinate with HIVE core for feedback about the flyer look

      • vote on version of flyer

    • PROGRAM - ASHLEY ADAMS

      • Coordinate with work with artist herder (Noelle) to get all program information in. 

      • Download the information and process it into a format easy for designer.

      • Generate final email for community to send with program for people to look at

      • create programs

      • take programs to printer

      • coordinate with QBee/Core re: when to do program

      • Communicate with QBee/Core how many programs

      • Delivers programs to Day of/Theatre Bee to be handed out by usher
